Having been recently enrolled in Medicaid, I visited the urgent care for the first time today and had the best urgent care experience. I was in and out within an hour and received excellent care from the medical staff. They were all so friendly and helpful and I left feeling great. Thanks Denver Health!
I was impressed with my treatment at Denver Health (especially in comparison to Lutheran Medical where I overheard staff saying “I hope she dies” regarding another patient and none of their staff seemed like they liked their jobs ). At Denver Health I was treated right away from the emergency room due to heart condition, got an eeg within 30 min. and was sent back within 45. Got an IV in right away and all staff acted like they actually cared. The resident doctor seemed like she was actually listening to me...it was amazing. Even though my low heart rate in the 30’s didn’t require treatment they made me feel like I wasn’t wasting their time and fully educated me on symptoms with my condition and medications.
The staff is always friendly and helpful! They are sweet and patient to my son that is afraid of needles. His Dr is awesome. My Midwife let him see an ultrasound of his new sibling when he came to the prenatal visit with me. They even asked him if he had questions about the pregnancy and baby!
I have recently switched to DHMP and have found all of their providers caring and knowledgeable. I think that staff care globally about our health. The service is also the most affordable one that our family has ever had. Finally, members have a wellness campaign that they can be part of to learn more about nutrition, health, and stress management. The videos, webinars, and interactive work has been great as have the explanations of the importance of activity. Thanks Denver Health!
I walked in the PedEr. The team was so awesome. They went out of their way to make my babies feel special. Short wait, Nurse, Dr., discharge nurse. I will be returning if I need too. Thanks to the awesome team members.!!
Denver Health literally saved my husband’s life. He was extremely sick when we got him to the ED and was treated immediately and with the upmost care. Every nurse paid attention to his case, every doctor was knowledgeable and helpful when discussing his diagnosis and treatment. The ED, ICU and General Hospital really all stepped up their game to give him the best treatment he could have been given. I cannot say enough about this hospital and the comfort it gave us when going through such a scary time. Thank you, everyone at Denver Health.
This Hospital is more Ghetto than others because it's an inner city hospital, But Most are friendly and the Doctors seem knowledgeable, they have helped my family for years and done it fairly and professional! Hospital is very easy to get to! And very Visible from street! Parking is a bit of a maze? But all in all it's a fairly decent hospital!
Denver Health was great. I had to go to the ER for a shoulder dislocation and my care was great, the people were professional and very nice and helpful. I know people have a belief that DH has a reputation for being "rough" but I didn't think that was the case at all. Would recommend it.
Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. I received incredible maternity care from the caring midwives and I was thoroughly pleased with the accommodations and attention me and my baby received afterwards. Shout out to Brenda and her team! I continue to take my baby to see doctors here for her appointments, and my husband and I receive our care here as well. Other than long wait times to get a routine care appointment, I haven't had a bad experience yet!
The pediatric ED/ urgent care provided wonderful care to my son last week. He is very scared of needles, and was very upset that he had to have stitches; but the staff did everything to make him feel at ease. They did so much to help him overcome his fears, and even though there were some tears at first, he did well. The ED staff was great!! Letting him pick something from their "treasure chest" was the icing on the cake. He was so excited, and it made him smile. Thank you Denver Health!
For a public hospital, this is the best it gets. They have helped me navigate America's healthcare system better than any other hospital or doctor's office ever has and saved me thousands of dollars in the process. I can only be thankful for their commitment to those with less than perfect insurance.
Love my counselor!!!
Amazing staff of doctors and nurses, they took care of my girl and my baby all the time....
We had our first child born here the other day, the staff is wonderful and great with the baby and us. We drove down from the mountains to have our baby here, due to not having an OB clinic in our area. We were a little early and the staff worked with us so we wouldn't have to drive back up into the mountains. The only complaint I have is we had some mixed info on our discharge time. The staff went out of the way to find the correct info and explain what happened. If it wasn't for that minor hiccup we would have gave it a 5 star rating. I would recommend this place for birth anytime. Thank you Denver Health and your awesome staff who cared about us and our baby.
This hospital has an amazing staff of doctors, nurses and other staff. Our son, came in basically drawing his last breath from a drug overdose. He was spared death by a wonderful staff of doctors and nurses in the ICU. The staff in ICU, Progressive Care and other professionals continued to treat him with the highest medical care and respect. I CANNOT imagine any better care anywhere. Denver is very fortunate to have a hospital like this one filled with compassionate people to take care of their patients. We feel blessed that when our son was found, the EMS transported him to this hospital.
I absolutely love this place. I have received all my medical care here. I delivered my first child and the experience was just amazing. The medical staff in the mom and baby unit is just wonderful. I am currently expecting my second child and plan on delivering at Denver Health as well. The clinics are even better. My daughter has been seeing the same doctor since birth. I have a great relationship with my nurse and doctor. I couldn't ask for anything better. This is as good as it can get.
Doctors, nurses and all staff are wonderful! They take time with you and they listen.
Not bad just enough!
